
Course Outline
This course will provide the student with the key safety and rescue skills required to operate safely in a sheltered water environment and to be able to deal with common emergencies in multiple craft types. This is a training course with scenario based practical sessions towards the end of the day. You will require all of your own kit, plus any safety kit you may own (Safety equipment can be provided). This course is a pre-requisite for the British Canoeing Paddle Sport Instructor Course, and ideal for all involved with paddle sport, both bank and boat based coaches or parents who regularly supervise/oversee sessions in any discipline.

British Canoeing certification Fee. There is also a candidate British canoeing administration fee payable on completion currently £5 member and £10 non members. Please check with British canoeing if unsure .
